This months show comes with a guest mix from Isolated Lines who’s Stride EP has been rocking the UnderGround BroadCast office recently. At a fundamental level, Swiss producer Isolated Lines finds inspiration through various influences from a number of contemporary genres and musical experiences. He likes to play with the rhythmic dynamics of techno, striking a balance between avant-garde and accessible. Following Linear Reflection, his label debut EP last year, Isolated lines shows with the Stride EP, a fascination for the darker side of techno, pushing the lower end to the front and creating cold, tense atmospheres. Isolated Lines keeps venturing into new challenges and shapes its breadth sound by pursuing a fusion of quantum drum parts and traditions through highly textured musicscapes, balancing strong rhythmics throughout and solid dancefloor beats. https://soundcloud.com/isolatedlineshttps://soundcloud.com/cloudcreaked

After the release of a debut EP, Pannonia Superior on Donor’s Miniscule which received good critics, Isolated Lines made remixes for labels such as Fifth Wall and Flashcut, and released his second EP, Linear Reflection on Creaked. Since 2004, Creaked Records has always pushed the music forward by bringing up-and-coming artists, shaping its very own style of electronic music and building a cutting-edge discography that defies all manner of genre. To celebrate the 40th addition to our catalog, the extended “Remodeled and Reworked Vol. 1”, we look at some of our best moments with a second remix collection.
“Remodeled and Reworked Vol. 2” picks the label’s most exciting recent tracks, from OY’s “Akwaba”, Gaspard de La Montagne’s “Pôle” to Kylmyys’ “Very Jeremiah” and the exclusive Larytta’s “Broken Leg Theory” cut. Then gives them some brand-new spit ‘n polish from four of our favorite artists, Glaswegian Dam Mantle, Italian house producer Bottin, techno labemate Isolated Lines and Creaked’s newer artist, My Panda Shall Fly.
